Cureent Chief Minister of Karnataka state (2018) – H.D. Kumaraswamy
The politics of Karnataka is dominated by Indian National Congress (INC), Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). As of now, Congress is leading the state and caused the changes in the state Cabinet recently.
The newly elected Chief Minister of the state of Karnataka is H.D. Kumaraswamy (INC). In 2018 electinsin Karnataka state, JD(S) was the third largest party but after a post-poll alliance with the Rahul Gandhi led Indian National Congress, H.D.Kumarasawamy was sworn in as the Chief Minister on 23 May 2018. He is preceding Siddaramaiah of Congress, the previous Chief Minister of the state.
