The politics of Karnataka is dominated by Indian National Congress (INC), Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). As of now, Congress is leading the state and caused the changes in the state Cabinet recently.
The newly elected Chief Minister of the state of Karnataka is Siddaramaiah (INC), who took the oath as the 22nd CM in the political history of Karnataka. He is preceding Jagdish Shetter of BJP, the previous Chief Minister of the state.
